Guard AR

Guard AR is a concept created for a case supplied by SUSAG, a Dutch painters' organisation. SUSAG aims to optimise economics and promote sustainable practices within the painting industry. Guard AR contributes to these goals by providing painters with a method to enhance their job longevity. How? By improving the painter's field of view, eliminating the need to strain their necks by bending backwards.

Ideation
After an extensive research phase, the ideation phase commenced. During this stage, I sketched out numerous ideas. Utilising various ideation and selection methods, I narrowed down to three distinct concepts: Air Nack, Guard AR, and Hydraulegs. Each of these concepts targets alleviating neck strain for painters through different approaches. Following discussions with the client, I opted to pursue the development of Guard AR safety glasses further.
